In order to fully understand food safety and the critical importance of its role as well as meeting state and local health department regulatory requirements, culinary professionals are certified by the ServSafe Food Safety program developed by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF). The ServSafe program is frequently updated to include the latest food safety science and industry best practices.
