KTI Medical Students Serve Community
A Message from Karen Altland, KTI Medical Department...
It’s always wonderful
to see how much Keystone
Technical Students
are willing to
give back to the community.
Recently, Medical Assistant
Specialist students
Brandie Ross,
Ashton Forrester,and Kristie Potteiger
participated in a health
fair at the Capitol Building.
They took blood
pressures and spent
time with the employees.
Not only was it a great
learning experience, but
it really helped people
become more aware of
their overall health.
Also, on July 23rd, most of the Keystone
Technical Institute students took
part in a Blood Drive. Thirty-five students
volunteered to give blood. This
was the largest group of all the area
schools. Those who couldn’t donate
helped in other ways—bringing food,
walking donors, and doing whatever
else was asked of them. Each and
every one of them should be very proud
of themselves because they saved lives.
