Keystone Technical Institute Celebrates Landmark 60th Graduation

Keystone Technical Institute celebrated its 60th graduation on Friday, January 18, 2008. Commencement services were held at the Four Points by Sheraton Harrisburg at 6:00 p.m. and featured an address by State Senator Jake Corman.

“This graduation is a milestone event in the lives of our students,” said David W. Snyder, president and owner of KTI. “It represents so much hard work and dedication on their part, and we at Keystone Technical Institute wish them every success.”

Top academic honors at Friday’s graduation went to valedictorian James Whitley Jr. in the Professional Massage Therapy program and salutatorian Kathleen Nickel in the Dental Assistant program. Other graduates earning awards for Academic Excellence were Amanda Benko, Monica Iino, Wendy McCready, Emily Smith, Carole Snyder, Kristin Stephens, and Roxy Yocum.

The gathering of graduates, family, friends, and KTI staff was treated to an address by Senator Jake Corman before the awards, degrees, and diplomas were handed out. Representing the 34th District of the Pennsylvania State Senate, Corman is the Senate’s Majority Policy Chairman. Keystone Technical Institutes graduates who were recognized for perfect attendance were Melissa Copenhaver and Stacy Fenstermacher. David W. Snyder concluded the ceremony by presenting the KTI Presidential Award to Jennifer Masood.
